Applications Support Specialist | Loughton (central line, Essex) | 1256

Trapeze ITS is hiring an Applications Support Specialist for the software solutions that keep passenger transport services running for many cities worldwide.
This is about supporting the market leading applications that underpin public and private transport service delivery for major metropolitan areas around the world - helping millions of people to complete their journeys efficiently, safely and on time.
Collaborating on a multiskilled team and becoming an expert member of our second line and third line applications support team, you will ensure the highest level of technical support is delivered to UK and international customers in their operational usage of multiple products and technologies.

Trapeze ITS provides an attentive induction process, full product training and an ongoing personal development program, plus opportunity to accrue valuable domain knowledge. There is prospect of progression to a senior technical role, support team leader, or to technical project management.
We're looking for

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proven abilities supporting applications or databases at second line
  • Ability to competently configure and customise, and also troubleshoot, identify and address root causes within applications
  • Intermediate SQL, and familiarity with virtualised systems
  • Fluent English, written and verbal, to a professional standard
  • Ability to join a 24*7*365 rota (one week in four)

Salary and benefits

  • £38,000 - £42,000+ negotiable
  • Discretionary company bonus
  • Ability to join on call (out of hours support) rota, worth c.£2,400
