.NET Developer (Corston - near Keynsham / Bath) TL172

SelectScience is hiring for a .NET Developer to help advance the Web platform which delivers content for our online publication and which supports our valued community of vendors and subscribers in the scientific community worldwide.

Now is an exciting time to join us as we extend our capabilities, explore the possibility of expanding into new market segments and improve how we create and build our software.

Joining our multi-skilled team you will be mentored by our Development Team Leader, benefiting from the shared learning as you collaborate to help create, implement and maintain our software and systems.

Example initiatives include
  • Helping create and implement new e-commerce and transaction capabilities
  • Helping build new video content delivery capabilities
  • Supporting the adoption of AngularJS across our platform
  • Supporting the refresh of our website and app
  • Helping integrate a new api for third parties
About you
  • You can work well as part of a SCRUM team
  • You adapt well and you learn quickly
  • Your coding skills span the front end, mid layers and back end; C#.NET, ASP.NET and JavaScript
  • You're comfortable being given important and high visibility tasks to deliver
  • Alternatively, you are a Computing graduate familiar with .NET
